What is the Difference Between Info Sessions and Training?
A CWTP information session (or info session) is an open meeting scheduled by an organization. These sessions are hosted either in-person, in a classroom or space, or online via zoom meetings, allowing the organization to meet with potential candidates in a more informal setting. Joining an info session enables potential participants to know more about the program and ask questions directly to the facilitating team. Info sessions are typically held during the recruitment stage.
Note: Attendance in info sessions does not guarantee admission or acceptance to the program.
A training session is a structured gathering where people are brought together to develop their knowledge and skills under the instruction of an experienced trainer. Note: Only applicants who meet the eligibility criteria, attend the info sessions, and are accepted into the CWTP program can attend the training sessions.
